Darren Shield is a New York based media and entertainment lawyer at Mazzeo Song PC, specializing in copyright, trademark, and privacy law for the game development and interactive media industries. His practice involves start-up business formation, complex commercial transactions, intellectual property litigation and licensing, and mergers and acquisitions. He is experienced in general contract drafting as well as privacy policies and terms of service for online services and apps.
Darren received his law degree from New York Law School, and his undergraduate degree in criminology from Simon Fraser University. During law school, Darren won the “Best Preliminary Round Oralist” award at the Charles W. Froessel Moot Court competition.
